Denise Haran Ben-Dor

Has a degree in Hebrew Linguistics and English Linguistics, as well as a diploma in Editing and Translation. Editor and translator. I’ve had the pleasure of working as President Yitzhak Navon’s bureau manager and personal assistant for twenty years, during which I’ve grown to know him as a person and as a public servant. We shared our love of the written word, of the Hebrew, Spanish, and Arabic languages and their respective cultures. We bonded over our interest in linguistics and our tenacious pedantry. Working with the Yitzhak Navon Heritage Association, surrounded by Navon’s writings and ideas, allows me to feel close to him and his work and brings up many fond memories from our time together.
